Saraki Mourns CP Lanre Jimoh

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has received with rude shock and sadness news of the death of Mr Lanre Jimoh, the Commissioner of Police in Cross Rivers State.

He described his death as a great loss not only to his family and friends but Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and the Nigeria Police Force which he served meritoriously for many years.

The passing of Mr. Lanre Jimoh, the Commissioner of Police of Cross Rivers State is a great loss — not only to his family and friends, but to the people of Ilorin, Kwara State, and the Nigerian Police which he served meritoriously for many years.

It is my hope and prayer that CP Jimoh will always be remembered for his dedication to his primary duty to serve and protect the lives and property of all Nigerians, and his commitment to making the police better. He will be sorely missed.

May Almighty Allah forgive his misdeeds and preserve for him a special place in Aljannah Firdaus, he said.

Signed
