Peoples Democratic Party PDP Kwara South Women Leaders has hailed former Senator, representing Kwara South, Distinguished Senator, Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim PHD, FCIB, Chairman RIB Foundation on the occasion of his 54 years birthday anniversary. 

In a congratulatory message signed by Alhaja Falilat Tinuola Aliyu described former Senator as a political warrior who fought relentlessly in the formation of the Kwara South, State and national at large. 

"Celebrating you is easy to do because you celebrate others, you are there for others. You're loved by many and admired worldwide because of the quality of your leadership" Hajia Falilat said. 

With your selfless services and your dividends of democracy to the people of your Senatorial district, Kwara South, you have distinguished your leadership among the past Senators in Kwara South. It's our prayers that we will continue to see you in high places in your future endeavors.

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
