OFFA ROBBERY: LAI MOHAMMED'S RECENT BEHAVIOURS/UTTERANCES TECHNICALLY RAISING SUSPICIONS

Having watched closely the level at which a supposedly Honorable Minister and senior citizen like Alhaji Lai Mohammed is descending low just for political reasons lately particularly his conducts on matters surrounding the tragic robbery at Offa last year, there had been rumour being inundated to lend my voice in order to draw insights which may be useful for the public and our law enforcement agencies.

With Lai Mohammed frenzy to hijack control of power in Kwara for his Lagos paymaster  in order to extend the latter's political business colony to Kwara, the fact is becoming clearer and with every war being orchestrated and targeted at *Senate President Bukola Saraki* premised on his 2015 victory during  NASS leadership's tussles with Lai's paymaster; the pains of which they are yet to fully recover and which they are determined to avenge by pulling Saraki down in Kwara.

The recent behaviours, including utterances from the camp of these failed  politicians who busied themselves spewing series of hate speeches to forcefully connect an innocent man to Offa robbery after lawful investigation had already absorbed him is suggesting something thicker than the the images being shown to public as regarding Offa robbery.
Beauty they say is in the eyes of beholders. Dr Bukola Saraki had while restating  his innocence and disconnection with Offa robbery during a radio interview was simply explaining how it is illogical to think that a person of his calibre would sponsored armed robbery operation with lost of about 7Million naira against his people and also went ahead to make donation of 10Million naira to empower same people.

Naturally , for a person or group of people to go into robbery, there must be something they are lacking or a project they wish to pursue but are being constraint financially. This leads us to a question  what could *"a two times Governor, Governor Forum Chairman, two times Senator and President of the  Senate"* be lacking that would made him think sponsoring robbery against Offa Banks; not even Lagos banks with huge vaults values are enough to take him out of the problems?

No doubt, the unfortunate Offa Robbery incident which occurred on 5th April, 2018 still linger in the minds of Kwarans, particularly Offa people who are looking forward to thorough prosecution of anyone found culpable in the act.

Knowing fully the upsurge of emotions this may attract from the public, these wicked politicians in APC had resolved to twisting this tragedy using the police as its instrument to frame innocent people  especially the Senate President who is being perceived as opposition to their political desperation and forcefully create a nexus between him and those who carried out the robbery operation.

Incidentally, this is not the first time Lai Mohammed name will be  propping up in this whole drama, for instance , some of the innocent guys arrested by police in connection with the robbery who were later freed recounts their ordeals and mentioned the Minister's name as one behind their arrests and merciless torture by police for political reasons.

With the recent irresponsible and godless reactions of Alhaji Lai Mohammed which followed the Senate President radio clarifications, it is becoming evidently clear that the unfortunate robbery operation may have been purposely sponsored, staged managed by these wicked politicians primarily for the sake of 2019 elections in Kwara State. *There's no act of wickedness that those who are allegedly fingered in the death of Late Funsho Williams  are not capable .*

Nigerians will recall that the robbery incidence took place in April, 2018 at the wake of Supreme Court Verdict which absorbed Saraki of any wrongdoing at the Code of Conduct  Tribunal. In other words, they might have weaved this robbery  agenda  after they observed  Saraki might be making headways at the Supreme Court.

In plain term, Lai Mohammed tried to pretend as if he was advising against playing politics with the Robbery incidence when of course he and his illegal party are the one trying to use the sad incident as instrument to incite the people against Saraki political dynasty so that Kwarans can begin to see them as alternative leadership platform in 2019.

Its important to also know that Lai Mohammed era in Lagos politics is already approaching an abrupt end after he had officially identified himself as Kwara politician with the  ministerial appointment. Lai Mohammed who currently have no other productive job aside politics is desperate to establish political relevance  in Kwara State beyond 2019 knowing fully well that going back to Lagos may be an impossible task.

What can be more political than when a politician and elder of Lai Mohammed status who had kept mute while innocent people were been framed up and locked up in Abuja?  Alhaji Lai Mohammed who did not find it worthy of talking  while  everybody was talking of the extra judicial killing of the lead suspect and gang leader in this robbery operation, Late Micheal Adikwu has suddenly woke up from slumber to be talking about the robbery when elections is just few weeks away. Why has Lai Mohammed who refused talking even when silence was not golden now begin to talk?

Its very suspicious of Alhaji Lai Mohammed who could not caution his party men who have been throwing decency to the wind by  their continuous politicisation of the robbery incidence but are now replying to Senate President who was only trying to debunk their attempt to connect him to the robbery.

The illegal APC under Alhaji Lai Mohammed have been erecting billboards where innocent people's photos were displayed  as criminals in #OffaRobbery with an inscriptions of "O To Ge" to score political points and Lai Mohammed never utter a word. What are they desperately trying to achieve?

As always, Saraki stood by the people and distanced himself from the orchestrated pitiable plight faced by Offa community. He further  demonstrated that on several occasions when he extended financial aid to the community when they faced fire disaster and even after the robbery . Alhaji Lai Mohammed who happened to be the only minister from this state on the other hands never find it worthy to assist the people who suffered this casualties.  It is very irresponsible of such person to stay in Lagos and be claiming the only financial aids provided by Saraki was #10Million when as a minister, he couldn't boast of ordinary pencil donation to the said community.

Its unfortunate that *Alhaji  Lai Mohammed,* and the Police are working together to trivilialize this whole issues by shielding those whose faces were caught live on CCTV while parading unknown persons on National TVs.   

Where is Chief Ayo Opadokun son and others who have their faces captured on CCTV today ?why are they not paraded on National TV as police turned Television to court of law ? Are they being shielded because they may embarrass Lai Mohammed Lagos  paymaster who has relationship with Pa Ayo Opadokun ? Why are  real culprits being  replaced with Innocent Men, tortured to confess sins they knew nothing about ?

Alhaji Lai Mohammed should at least allow justice prevail over every culprits that is truly culpable in this crime so that the precious souls of those who died can rest in peace
