MY MEETINGS WITH NATA GROUP WAS A SUCCESS

Folks,

I just finished a session with high powered  Executives and Members of National Automobile Technicians Association , Irewolede Chapter in Irepodun LGA . The meetings is to further deepen our consultation with prominent stakeholders and sensitize our people on the need to avoid negative blackmails being used by Oppositions elements who are aliens to Kwara particularly now that Elections is on the offing

Although I have been a friend of the Association from time immemorial due to series of positive engagements we have had while I was Deputy Chairman , Irepodun Local Government but they used the medium to  reaffirmed their unalloyed loyalty and support to the PDP in the state and leadership of Senate President Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON)

While many of the stakeholders appreciated me for the employments I facilitated for their wives in the past , others also used the medium to appreciate Alhaji Tajudeen Bada for his patronage while he was council chairman.

The Association Lauded *Comrade Bisi Fakayode* for his responsive approach whenever they called on him . Honrobale Ben Duntoye and Honorable Anu Ibiwoye were also in their list of appreciations claiming that the two gentlemen had been so supportive and beneficial to NATA in numerous ways .

They specifically showed their gratitudes to Honorable Commissioner for Finance , Alhaji Ademola Banu for his empowerment programs which did not exclude members of their associations.

They assured all candidates of PDP in the general elections of their full supports noting that they will throw their weights behind us on 17th November by voting massively for Honorable Saheed Alatise for the by-elections

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. Governor Ahmed, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr Muyideen Akorede, urged the people of both communities to refrain from publishing or otherwise circulating unauthorized interpretations of the said judgement as the state government is employing dialogue as a means of finding an amicable and sustainable solution to the dispute. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
