*Kwara PDP expressed worries over plots to use state machinery, hoodlums by APC to forcefully hijack electoral  process, named Lagos thugs already imported to kwara*

*Kwara PDP said:👇

"The desperation of the APC to win the election by all means possible no matter how illegal and cruel they are, represents the vindictiveness of the party’s leaders towards the Senate President and national leader of the PDP, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki. "

"We have it on good authority that while some of the political thugs are already in town, others who are to be led by notorious thug, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo will arrive Kwara in droves as from tomorrow and will be positioned in different parts of Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun federal constituency. It is a public knowledge that MC Oluomo has a long standing allegiance and loyalty to the APC."

" Gentlemen of the press, you will recall that MC Oluomo shortly after the September governorship election in Osun State via a video posted online, issued a threat to the Senate President and our leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and boasted that  that the APC will invade Kwara and hijack the State from the Senate President."

"This is also an indication that the APC as a party breeds political thugs and use them to perpetuate violence during elections like they brazenly did in Osun, where they stole the mandate of our party’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke."

"The imported thugs we learnt, will be camped at different hotels in Ekiti, Oke-Ero, Isin and Irepodun local government areas from where they will be operating. The plan of the APC is to deploy these thugs to harass and intimidate members and supporters of the PDP from turning up at voting centres, especially in areas considered to be the strongholds of our party. This will also give the APC leeway to carry out their planned rigging."
 
"We have names of some of the political thugs that were smuggled into Kwara last week by Zulu Authority, who is an Oro-born politician and official of the Lagos State government. Some of them are Aluwe Zegoo, Tolu Oloyede, Fish, among others who are all notorious thugs in Lagos Island."

"Gentlemen of the press, it is necessary we inform you that one of our members in Oro was on Friday stabbed in different parts of his body by these APC thugs stationed at the residence Zulu Authority. In fact, the victim is here to recount his ordeal in the hands of the APC thugs."

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
