Kwara HoR By-Elections: ALATISE will consolidate on Funke Adedoyin's template - Hon. BADA

As Alatise, Bada meet late Funke Adedoyin's team in Arandun

The PDP candidate in the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun House of Representatives by-election, Hon.  Saheed Alatise and the 2019 Irepodun Assembly candidate, Hon. Shamsudeen Shola Bada on Friday held a closed door session with prominent members of late Funke Adedoyin's political team which included her Legislative Aides, Youth Vanguards and her Media Crew who worked directly with the late Honourable during her lifetime.

Hon Shamsudeen Shola Bada who is presently a PDP candidate for the 2019 House of Assembly in Irepodun, during the meeting, maintained that the numerous successes and achievements  recorded by late Princess Adedoyin informed their reasons to seek robust collaboration with her team so that ideas can be smoothly transmitted when Alatise resumes office .

Bada in his message assured the team members that Alatise has come purposely to consolidate and build on the great legacies set by their late principal which include , infrastructural facelifts, Agricultural Empowerment, providing portable and drinking water, investment in health facilities and so on .

Buttressing Bada's submission, Hon Jimoh Saheed Alatise explained that Late Princess Funke Adedoyin great feats across the constituency in just three and half years was impressive and only a non progressive minded  person will overlook the brilliant team she left behind.

"I am ready to work with you all, behind every successful leader, there are great followers. Princess Funke Adedoyin can only achieve these feats because you all contributed impressively while she was alive." -- Alatise submitted

Responding on behalf of the team, Honorable Ogundun from Isin and Chief Femi Adebayo from Oke-ero appreciated the interest of the PDP candidate in the team and assured them of the team unflinching supports in the forthcoming by elections.

The meeting had in attendance, the team leader, Comrade Bisi Fakayode with other prominent Vanguard members, Legislative aides and the members from the media depaartment.

FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
