OTUNBA ANU IBIWOYE MOURNS PRINCESS OLUFUNKE ADEDOYIN:

Otunba  Anu Ibiwoye announced that he received this evening the shocking and devastating announcement of the sudden death of Princess Olufunke Adedoyin MNI who until her death was the Honorable Member representing the Irepodun/Isin/Oke-ero/Ekiti Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Ibiwoye who had served as Special Assistant to Princess Adedoyin while she held office as Honorable Minister of State for Women Affairs and Youth Development and later Minister of State for Health describes the late lawmaker as a very courageous but compassionate woman and dogged fighter for the ideals she believed.

She was very passionate about her people and proud of her heritage as an Igbomina woman.
As the Representative of the Irepodun/Isin/Oke-ero/Ekiti Federal Constituency she was credited to have facilitated several development projects in her constituency and touched the lives of her constituents.

Otunba Anu Ibiwoye expressed shock and sadness at the sudden passing of Princess Adedoyin, describing her death as a personal loss and a big loss to the people of her Constituency, the people of Kwara State and the Igbomina Race in particular. He prayed that God grants the repose of her soul and grant her eternal rest. He said “No doubt, she will surely be missed by us all”

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. I have watched with concern the recent development in Oyo and Ondo States in which quit notices were given to Fulani herders and there were subsequent burning of the property of the Fulani herdsmen in some parts of Oyo State. These happenings have increased tension and unduly raised the temperature in the country. 2.
