FUNKE ADEDOYIN: CHANGING THE LYRICS OF REPRESENTATION WITHOUT NOISE

Since her emergence in 2015 general elections,  *Honorable Princess Olufunke Adedoyin* has not given anything to chance . The magnitude of works credited to her constituency office in shortest of time indicates she was seriously prepared for the herculean task before being voted in.

Being the first female to be elected into such exalted office in Kwara South,  a lot of people had feared how she will live up to expectations but the reality on ground today is that Princess Olufunke Adedoyin has changed the narrative and raised the bar of representation.

As an observer and keen follower of political events, *I make bold to say no representation since 1999 had been able to facilitate and deliver two (2) prominent road constructions, provided 20 employment opportunities at a stretch, capitalised on farmers and traders empowerment programmes,  facilitated procurement of boreholes drilling machine for the sole benefit of making water accessible to all communities and villages, facilitating monthly conditional cash transfer to the vulnerables and the needies and distribution of instructional materials to public schools across the constituency all under just three years of representation .*

Indeed, this is a complete deviation from the past status quo when you only see representatives coming to town during election periods to woo voters.

Beyond infrastructural fecelifts , her vision, mission and liberal political ideology *mark a fundamental change of direction in politics of Kwara South.*

This is reflected through her numerous masses friendly physical projects  and sustainable regional developmental strides across the nooks and crannies of the constituency which she represents. In fact, she's the perfect example of  *"what a man can do,  a woman  can do better"* and in her case she is doing way better than her predecessors.

Three years down the line in the hallowed chamber,  what is on ground courtesy of Princess Adedoyin outweighs what the previous 16 years Representations had afforded the people of the Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke-ero Federal Constituency.

Having campaigned on four (4) prominent agenda *(Road-works, water, Education ,Agro and SME's Empowrment)*, Honorable Princess Olufunke Adedoyin since assumption of office 3 years ago has graciously been able to touch every bit of her manifestos despite the downturn which hit the nations economy .

What we have on ground in the constituency call for reinforcement beyond 2019 and this is why the good people of the constituency are speaking out through various platforms for more *"Funkenisation"* of the constituency in 2019 so that Princess can consolidate more on those laudable works she has started. *A good turn they say deserves another*

FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40.
