2019: Unity of purpose a tool for a successful outing in Kwara - PDP Elders

In preparation for the coming general elections, the Kwara South PDP Senatorial District continued with the expanded caucus meeting to further strengthen the party and ensure a landslide victory in the 2019 elections.

The elders appreciated the leadership prowess of the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for ensuring a successful integration between the party elders and the defectors without resulting to any rancour.

The elders however, called for understanding among party members to ensure a more united People's Democratic Party in the State.

The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, on behalf of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed appreciated all party members for their understanding and cooperation which gave room for a easy harmonization in Kwara. He , therefore, stressed the need to remain united for the good of the state and her people.

The Senator called for extensive prayers as the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki guns for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2019 election.

All party members, Elders and party faithful present at the extended caucus meeting, pledged their undiluted loyalty to Saraki and the PDP.

In attendance were the former Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Elder Joel Ogundeji, the Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, National BoT Member, Cecilia Ore, the Chairman PDP Kwara South Senatorial district, Elder Ebun Afolayan.

Also joined from the State Executives of the PDP were the Former Minister,  Mallam Abubakar Suleiman, the PDP State Secretary, Alhaji Rasaq Lawal, the PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr Tunde Ashaolu, and other PDP party Stalwarts.
