Court directs Oshiomole to work with Balogun-Fulani in Kwara

The Kwara State High Court, Ilorin judicial division has directed the National  Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Mr Adams Oshiomole to henceforth work with the Alhaji Ishola Balogun Fulani - led State Executive Committee (SEC) of the party in Kwara State.

In a correspondence received by the National Chairman of APC, through the National Legal Adviser of the party, Oshiomole was directed to henceforth direct all correspondences, information, official assignments and responsibilities of the APC, Kwara State chapter through the party office at No 29, Agba Road, G. R. A Ilorin, Kwara State in obedience to the interim order granted by Honorable Justice T. S. Umar.

In the correspondence, Oshiomole was further warned to be well guided in not doing acts capable of supporting, assisting and/or aiding any form of disrespect or disobedience to lawful order of court.

The correspondence specifically indicated the possibility of commencement of contempt proceedings against Mr Oshiomole if he fails to obey the court order.

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
