Senator @RafiuIbrahim Congratulates His Leader, @BukolaSaraki Over CCT Victory

The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim has expressed his excitement over the ruling of the Supreme Court on no case submission about of the false assets declaration and sundry charges instituted against the Nigerian Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The Senator expressed his excitement as the Supreme Court vindicated Dr Saraki over the persecution changes against him. He said, "it was a known fact that the case was baseless from day one as it was instituted to witch-hunt Dr Saraki because of the seat of the Senate Presidency."

Alhamdulillah as the apex Court in the land has put to rest all attempts to soil the name of “our Leader of Leaders, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki," with false assets declaration.

With this judgement, the Supreme Court has reassured Nigerians that our judicial system remains the last hope of every common man.

The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Ibrahim, rejoiced with the Senate President for the victory and urged him to continue his good work at the National Assembly towards using legislative activities to restore peace, strengthen the unity of Nigeria and to move the country forward.

FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
