FUNKE ADEDOYIN DISTRIBUTES TOOLS TO LOCAL FARMERS

A House of Representatives member representing Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke-ero Federal Constituency, *Honorable  Princess Olufunke Adedoyin (MNI),* has distributed farm inputs and several other empowerment materials to farmers from across the *42 wards* which make up her constituency.

Over five hundreds (500), constituents who are basically rural farmers including people who have no affiliation with politicians all  benefited from the agricultural empowerment initiative which took place yesterday in Owolewa House,  Omun-Aran  ,the Constituency Office  of Hon Olufunke Adedoyin.

This agricultural empowerment initiative is following her earlier distribution of 300 Metric Tones of Fertilizers to farmers in the constituency few months back.  Some of the materials distributed yesterday include *Farm Spraying Machines, Herbicides, Insecticide and other farming tools.*

The *Agbamun born female politician* who's also the Deputy Chairperson, House Committee on Army said nothing inspires her than seeing most of her electoral manifestoes coming into reality despite the shortfall in nations economy.

Hon Adedoyin who spoke through her legislative Aide , *Hon. Usman Gbenga Ajayi* at the program noted that her constituency is made up of agrarian communities and appreciable numbers of the residents are farmers.

“This distribution of farm implements was as a result of baseline studies of the needs of the people in my constituency. Materials are not just being distributed, they were chosen after due consultations and priority is being given to items that will mostly serve the people."

"Though the country’s economy is experiencing some challenges at the moment but Honorable Adedoyin is mostly inspired seeing her campaign promises being delivered to impact on the lives of the people in line with the mandate given to her." Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
