Kwara Lawmaker distributes 300 Tones of fertilizer ,other farm implements to local farmers

Honorable Princess Olufunke Adedoyin on Thursday distributed free 300 tones of Fertilizer, many  Knackspack sprayers and other farm implements to local farmers in her constituency in Kwara South.

Adedoyin of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is representing Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke-ero Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Abuja .

The Princess who was represented by her Director General , Barrister Teju Oguntoye said the move was to boost agricultural activities which is predominant in her constituency as of one of the cardinal campaign manifestoes of Honorable Adedoyin

He said Princess toured all nooks and crannies of the constituency and  campaigned on four cardinal agenda

"ladies and gentlemen, as you will all recall our Honorable hinged on 4 cardinal points during her campaign and Agriculture takes prominent place in these promises"

"As your representative, she believes her promises to  you are not mere words , they are sacred and she must fulfill them , and this is why we are here today to appreciate our farmers with this little assistance."

"I have the honor of Honorable Princess Funke Adedoyin to announce free distribution of  300 tones of Fertilizer,  consignment of Knackspack sprayers plus other useful farm implements are here to be distributed free to farmers across the constituency.  Its my hope that you will all reciprocate this gesture by ensure these multi million naira worth items are judiciously put to use , i thank you all" he submitted.

Speaking at the event, APC Chairman, Irepodun LGA, Hon.Bisi Owolabi described the lawmaker as a pride to Irepodun local government because she has played so many key roles which complement developmental programs APC government is putting in place for the people .

"Hon. Adedoyin has made us proud in Irepodun, ever since her emergence as our Representative, she's always accessible and available to we party Chairmen across her constituency"*

Meanwhile, Honorable  Joseph Adeniyi Azeez , the APC Chairman, Oke-Ero LGA who also spoke at the event, commended the lawmaker for what he described as unequal representation

"Princess Adedoyin has always been the reason most of us APC stakeholders in kwara South have mouth over our opponents because when you observe since 2015, how many of our representatives are doing what she's doing "?

A community leader in Omun Aran, Chief Gbadeyan said , "We are praying for her , her performance have been impressive to us as Royal fathers"

Another APC women leader Alhaja Falila Ashake said" Hon Adedoyin is keeping to her campaign promises, and this is a demonstration of a woman that knows the feelings of her people and commitment to their welfare"

Also, the former councilor in the area, Hon. Olamilekan Wasiu Awoniyi said  “Today is a great day because this fertiliser is coming at the right time and shows that the honourable member feels the pulse of the people"

Reports have it that appreciable numbers of Farmers trooped out of their villages to the constituency Office, Owolewa House.  Omun Aran where the event took place to receive their shares of the fertilizer and other farm implements.
