Isin LGA: Renovation of Area office, Oke-onigbin Completed

The Executive Chairman, Isin Local Government, Honorable Oladipo Omole and his operational team yesterday inspected the previsouly dilapidated structure of  *Isin Area Office, Oke-onigbin* which is now fully renovated to its standard  form.

*Omole* during work inspection to the completely revamped facility told newsmen that his administration inherited pitiable infratrucural facilities but he has taken it up as duty to revamp all the dilapidated structures belonging to the council since government is continuous.

*"Gentlemen of the press, since inception of this administrstion, we have busy ourselves with rigorous revamp of what we met on ground, what was handed over to us was mere carcass that no seruous government business could take place without first addressing this infratructural decay, and since government is continuos , we decided to not complain but face the business of governace"*

*" We started from the main Secretariat and today we are here, we will ensure total facelift of all structures belonging to the Council so we would not be handing over same thing to those who will succeed us."* The Council Chairman said .

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. I have watched with concern the recent development in Oyo and Ondo States in which quit notices were given to Fulani herders and there were subsequent burning of the property of the Fulani herdsmen in some parts of Oyo State. These happenings have increased tension and unduly raised the temperature in the country. 2. The ugly development in these two states are symptomatic of the continued threat to the unity of our country that we have witnessed on a higher scale in recent times and in different parts of the country, including the South-East  and South-South zones.  3.
