ISIN LGA: CHAIRMAN LAID 2018 BUDGET BEFORE LEGISLATURES FOR RATIFICATION


The Executive Chairman, Isin Local Government, *Hon. Oladipo Omole* on Tuesday, June 19 presented 2018 budget estimates of N1,772,839,245,00 to the Local Government legislature for ratification. According to the chairman, this was done in compliance with the democratic principle and regards to the rule of law.

Presenting the budget to the legislative arm yesterday, Omole who was accompanied *by his deputy, Hon Hassanat Adedoyin* disclosed that the exercise was another milestone of development in *Isin local government* as the budget will be the first to be designed by his administration since assumption of office.

""Its my pleasure leading members of my executve team to this honorable house today as this  event will mark the beginning of development in Isin. We have done this in compliance with the rule of law." Omole declared

Recieving the budget document, The speaker of the house, Hon. Ogundele James  assured the chairman and executive members of quick passage of the budget. He also thanked the chairman for leaving a legacy which give credence to democratic principle and repsect for due process .

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
