The Director General, Princess Funke Adedoyin Constituency Office, Barrister Teju Oguntoye on Friday conducted on the spot check on thr ongoing Ekan-Imoji-Erinmope road being handled by Nigerian Army Engineers

According to Barrister Oguntoye, the check which was on the instruction of Princess Adedoyin is aimed at assessing the level of workdone in the site and also relate with the community people if they are satisfied with the quality and quantity of works being carried out by the contractors .

The DG lauds the contractors for living up to their expectations and urge them to keep up the tempo.

"We are here on the instruction of Her Excellency to assess the level of progress in this work and to interact with the people who are the direct beneficiaries of this project to know if they are satisfied or not. With what we have seen so far, no doubt the works is going on well". He said.

Recall that in December 2017, Princess Adedoyin had declared that Ekiti/Oke Ero axis will be next to benefit  her infrastutural facelifts crusade particularly in area of roadworks. This is in a bid to balance distribution of projects among the four local government areas which make up the constituency.

In February 2018, Hon. Funke Adedoyin during Town Hall Interactive Session with community people in Oke-Opin announced immediate commencement of Ekan-Imoji-Erinmope road construction alongside construction of ultramodern Maternity Centre.
