Eid El Fitr: Senator @RafiuIbrahim Congratulates Muslim Faithful

The Kwara South Senator, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim congratulated Muslim faithful for the successful completion of this year's Ramadan.

Senator Rafiu in his Eid El Fitr message urged Muslims to hold on to the teachings and lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He advised Muslim to remain steadfast with the piety of Allah and be more dedicated to the virtues of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"Eid-el-fitr only marks the end of fasting but Muslims should increase their spirit of devotion, charity, tolerance, forgiveness, piety beyond the Holy Month", the Senator urged.

He specifically called for continue prayers to Almighty Allah for the Leader, the Senate President and Chairman 8th National Assembly, Dr. @Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for divine protection from the hands of his adversaries.

The Senator prayed to God almighty to accept all acts performed during the month of Ramadan as acts of Ibadah and reward all faithful Muslims in multiple folds.

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
