Dallas Bags outstanding Leadership award from the Federal Legislative

The Executive chairman of Ekiti Local Government, Com.  Ayeni Yinka Dallas today, 4th of May, 2018  received the *outstanding Leadership award* from the House Of Representative Committee on ethic and Governmental Affairs in recognition of his excellent performance and good governance in Ekiti LGA, Kwara State at the anti corruption and leadership seminar held at the Umaru Musa Yar'dua Centre, Abuja.

Dallas was at the same time honoured by the former minister for Sport and Youth Development and the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress *Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi* for the well deserved  award he received and for making Kwara state proud.

The Executive chairman also had an interactive session with reporters of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at the seminar  where he made it known that he is determined and as he  knows that  it is wise to direct his anger towards all the problems facing the people of Ekiti LG,  Kwara State such as ​​insecurity, land dispute, youth unemployment, farmers/herdsmen crisis, food insecurity, hungers among others. He said his priority is to put all his energies on solutions and not excuses. Dallas emphasized that Ekiti Kwara is on the part to greater height.

Offa/Erin-Ile: Governor Ahmed Solicits Calm Over Judgment, Advocates Dialogue. The Kwara State State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on the people of Erin-Ile and Offa to remain calm and maintain law and order in the aftermath of a recent Supreme Court judgement concerning the boundary dispute between the communities. FAAC: Kwara to Receive N3.2b as April Allocation as LGs Get N2.4b Kwara State Government has revealed its federal allocation figures for April 2019. In statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu said the state government will receive N3,279,896,086.07 as federal allocation for April. The April allocation, according to Banu, comprises statutory allocation of N1,984,735,503.59, Value Added Tax (VAT) amounting to N865,451,596.07, exchange gain of N3,605,662.04, foreign exchange equalisation of N71,405,769.35, additional NNPC funds amounting to N54,568,854.62 as well as goods and valuable contribution of N300,128,700.40. Banu said local government councils in the state, on their part, were allocated N2,410,239,130.07.
