I Have No Hand in Recruitment of New KWASU VC: Governor Ahmed Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed says it is entirely the prerogative of the Kwara State University’s (KWASU) Governing Council to recruit a new Vice Chancellor as the incumbent’s tenure expires. Governor Ahmed, in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Dr Muyideen Akorede, said social media claims that he attempting to teleguide the selection process of a new Chief Executive for KWASU in favour of particular candidates are completely untrue. While dismissing the post currently circulating on social media as an attempt to blackmail him, Governor Ahmed also dissociated his office or his aides from any attempt to foist anyone on the university as Vice Chancellor.
